History

The Fish House is locally owned by The Great Southern Restaurant Group. The group also owns, The Atlas Oyster House, and Jackson’s Steakhouse. All restaurants are local to the Pensacola area. Who is the Great Southern Restaurant Group? The Great Southern Restaurant Group, which owns Jackson’s Steakhouse, the Fish House and Atlas, is a division of Merrill Land Company. The primary interest of Merrill Land Company is in real estate developments in the Gulf Coast region. The company’s headquarters is in downtown Pensacola but it also has an office in Gulf Shores, Ala.
