History
Established in 1995.
Will and Dorothy Howard, natives of Talbot & Caroline County, designed and built the main and guest house in the mid 1980s, raising 4 children. They built it so their children and their friends could be entertained on their property. They also built a barn so they could care for and ride horses. In 1995, after their children moved away, they turned the guest house into a short term rental property for distinguished guests. They have enjoyed meeting all their guests.
Open all four seasons and is a picture of serenity on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Take in a deep breath, drink in the view.

It is an elegant private guesthouse on a 12-acre horse farm on the Miles River, located between Easton and St. Michaels. The 1500 square foot guest house has 3 bedrooms and is only 100 feet from the magnificent Miles River.
Within a few hour’s drive of most cities in the region, we offer an accessible yet secluded getaway that takes you far away from it all. Shopping,dining and sightseeing are all just minutes away in nearby St, Michaels, Oxford or Easton. Short drives to historic villages and small towns offer glimpses into the past and a much simpler way of life. We are 5 minutes from downtown Easton with shopping, galleries, restaurants, the historic Avalon Theater and Academy of the Arts.
